MEET Dr. Mina Pashayi
Founder OF HEALWORKS
Dr. Mina Pashayi has been living the principles behind HealWorks long before she opened its doors. She became a chiropractic patient in high school after a severe back injury and chose to heal naturally rather than conventionally, a decision that kept her competing on her varsity swim and water polo teams and set the course for everything that followed. That experience gave her something no textbook ever could: the understanding that healing is not linear, that the body's capacity to recover is far greater than we are often told, and that the most profound shifts happen when the body, mind, and spirit are finally moving in the same direction. She has never forgotten what it felt like to be a patient and that memory lives in every treatment she delivers today.

Dr. Mina earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic summa cum laude and on the Dean's List from Southern California University of Health Sciences, with her undergraduate foundation at UC San Diego. She has since completed advanced training through the Institute for Functional Medicine, the gold standard in functional medicine education, and holds certifications in Webster Technique and Neuro-Emotional Technique. She brings to every patient a rare combination of clinical depth, functional medicine thinking, and an intuitive understanding of the connection between the physical body, the nervous system, and the whole human experience. A certified yoga instructor since 2008 with a personal meditation practice spanning over fifteen years, she understands firsthand that true health is not just structural, it is the alignment of everything you are.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Mina is a true explorer at heart. After undergrad she spent four years traveling across different countries and cultures, an experience that permanently shaped how she sees people, health, and the world. She also spent six months volunteering with the Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children in Costa Rica, delivering care and community health programs to at-risk youth. That time reminded her that healthcare at its best is deeply human and that conviction is present in every patient interaction at HealWorks. She loves the beach, lives for good travel, and will forever be a Lakers fan. RIP Kobe.
She founded HealWorks in 2022 with the intention to build the kind of practice she would want as a patient — one that sees the whole person, goes deep enough to find the real answer, and meets you with patience and precision wherever you are on your healing journey.
